In this material, the instructor reveals the control drill of the target acquisition speed block — the 25-meter standard. You will learn how to assess your true ability to acquire a target and deliver an accurate shot under strict time pressure. At the fundamental training level, the shooter must hit an A4-sized silhouette at 25 meters in under 1.5 seconds, completing a series of ten rounds. You will learn why at least six hits out of ten must be accurate — all within that same time limit. Any shot exceeding 1.5 seconds is automatically counted as a miss. Shooting is performed from the Depressed Muzzle position, allowing quick presentation while maintaining situational awareness.
